About the practice
About my bankruptcy practice. Our standard rate is $1000 for a single Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing. This is literally half or less of the big-firm cost where you pay an "attorney fee" but you don't even meet with an attorney. Remember that old bumper sticker your local cafe would sell: "Friends don't let friends go to Starbucks"? Well, the same applies here: friends don't let friends go to the giant corporate bankruptcy mills. Our clients refer their friends to us because they know from experience that those friends will receive the respectful, courteous and individual attention they deserve: and they'll get it from an attorney. Would you pay a doctor in order to see her nurse? No. So why pay an attorney to see his clerk?
We can charge less than the big guys, because we don't have bloated overhead for advertising and housing an army of clerks to do the bulk of your work. We begin attorney representation for your bankruptcy with $100 down payment and we accept flexible installment plans. The down payment begins actual representation. We get down to business and don't mess around.
Know that there is no free lunch. If an ad promises literally "no down payment," that probably means you get the privilege of signing up if you put down your debit card number. But zero down gets you zero help.
